APARTMENTS - Calvary Community is a smoke free facility. There are 108 one-bedroom apartments with a living room, kitchen & dining area combination, bath, and bedroom with a walk-in closet. Each apartment is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, cooking range/oven, and carpeting. All apartments' heating and air conditioning are individually controlled for complete comfort. Residents provide their own furnishings. Drapes are provided. ACCESS - Some apartments are specially designed to be accessible for persons in a wheelchair. Sidewalks, entrances, common rooms and laundry facilities are all accessible. AMENITIES - The community area contains well-kept grounds, laundry rooms, excellent staff, a beauty shop, patio and picnic areas, a large activities room and common kitchen, an emergency response system, and a caring Christian environment. We operate cooperatively with Calvary Baptist Church, Calvary Christian School, and Columbus Christian Counseling Center in activities and services. SERVICES and ACTIVITIES - Planned activities and social functions are available for all residents including monthly birthday parties, covered dish lunches, Bingo, and sing-alongs. In addition, we provide grocery trips, shopping trips, and various sight-seeing outings. A number of other helpful services are also made available.
